MEETING POINTS (30.04.2026) Academic Session 2026–27

This is to inform you that the Annual Meeting of the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Central Zone) for the Academic Session 2026–27 was successfully held on 30th April 2026 at ZAPP, South City Road, Ludhiana, under the chairmanship of Dr. Jyoti Pujara, Director, LSSC (Central Zone).

The key highlights and decisions taken during the meeting are as follows:

1. Opening of the Meeting
The meeting commenced with a Welcome Tea followed by a floral welcome of the Director, Office Bearers, and esteemed Principals. The Chairperson addressed the gathering and outlined the agenda for the session.

2. Annual Activity Calendar (2026–27)
The Annual Activity Calendar for sports and co-curricular activities was discussed in detail and finalized. Emphasis was placed on incorporating innovative and engaging activities for holistic student development.

3. Curriculum Updates
The members discussed the implementation of new curriculum components:
• Computational Thinking and AI (Classes III–VIII)
• Vocational Education (Classes VI–IX)
• Advanced Science & Mathematics (Classes IX-X)
The discussion focused on effective implementation strategies, alignment with CBSE guidelines, and fostering future-ready skills among students.

4. Presentation of Accounts
The Annual Accounts Statement was presented and reviewed by the members, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial matters.

5. Selection of New Office Bearers

On completion of the tenure of Dr. Jyoti Pujara, the new Office Bearers were appointed as follows:
• Director: Mrs. Kamalvir Kaur (Principal- GNI Public School, B.R.S. Nagar)
• Secretary: Ms. Ritu (Principal- Green Land Convent School, Civil City)
• Joint Secretary: Mr. Bipan Sethi (Principal- Victoria Public School, Lehra)

6. Sahodaya Competitions (2026–27)
Detailed discussions were held regarding:
• Event structure and scheduling
• Participation guidelines
• Evaluation criteria
• Inter-school coordination
It was agreed to foster inclusivity, ensure maximum participation, and promote healthy competition among students.

7. General Discussion
All members actively participated and shared valuable suggestions, strengthening collaboration and coordination among member schools.

8. Vote of Thanks
The meeting concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Ritu Malhotra, Principal, Green Land Convent School, Civil City

Minutes of Meeting LSSC Principal’s Meet 2024-25

Date : 4th May, 2024 Time: 11:00 a.m.

Annual meeting of Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Central) for the Session 2024-25 was held on 4th May, 2024 at Green Land Convent School, Sec-32, Chd. Road, Ldh. The Principals of LSSC (Central Zone), member schools attended the meeting.

• Opening Remarks:
  The meeting began with the welcome note by Mrs. Vinita Sanan, Director LSSC (Central Zone), Principal, Green Land Convent School, Sec-32, Chd. Road, Ldh. and Registration and submission of fee:
  
  Member schools submitted the Annual Subscription Fee of LSSC (central) of session 2024-25.


• REPORT & BUDGET OF PREVIOUS YEAR BY DIRECTOR LSSC (CENTRAL ZONE):
  Mrs. Vinita Sanan, Director LSSC (Central Zone), presented the Account Statement & Budget of the previous year.


• ACTIVITY CALENDAR: The annual activity calendar was discussed & finalized for co-curricular & sports activities for the session 2024-25.


• FUN-FILLED ACTIVITIES:
  To inject vibrancy into our meeting and commemorate World Laughter Day, we arranged a series of engaging activities. Our esteemed Principals joined in a singing activity, adding a delightful touch to our gathering."


• ELECTION & APPOINTMENT OF NEW OFFICE BEARERS:
  Mrs. Vinita Sanan, Director of LSSC (Central Zone), nominated the new office bearers with unanimous consent from the attendees.
  The newly nominated office bearers were warmly welcomed with bouquets, symbolizing our collective support and encouragement for their upcoming roles.

• OTHER DISCUSSIONS:-
  More meetings of Sahodaya to be organized.
  Workshops, webinars & seminars for Principals and Teachers by the experienced educationist will be organized for teachers to improve the quality of education.
  It was decided with the consent of the house that only Principals of member schools should attend the meeting. No other representative is allowed.


• VOTE OF THANKS BY NEWLY APPOINTED DIRECTOR:
  The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Jyoti Pujara, the newly appointed Director of LSSC, Central Zone. It marked the end of the meeting expressing appreciation for everyone's participation and contributions.
  After the productive session, members enjoyed a delightful lunch together, fostering solidarity. Following this, member schools dispersed with renewed enthusiasm, carrying forward the spirit of collaboration and dedication nurtured during our meeting.
