Minutes of meeting LSSC Principals’ Meet 2022-23
Venue : Nirvana Club, Austin Hall, Ludhiana
Date : 15th February, 2022 Time: 11:45 a.m.
Annual meeting of Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Central) for the Session 2022-23 was held on 15th February,2022 at Nirvana Club, Austin Hall, Ludhiana. 26 Principals of different CBSE schools attended the meeting.
- Opening Remarks: The meeting began with the welcome note by Mrs.Gurmant Kaur Gill, Director LSSC (Central). Principal, Guru Nanak International School, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, Ldh and the Account statement of the previous year was presented by Director LSSC(Central).
- Activity Calendar : The annual activity calendar was discussed & finalized for co-curricular & sports activities for the session 2022-23. New activities were also added with the consent of the house.(List attached)
Following guidelines were also framed and approved regarding LSSC Competitions.
- (a) Rules & regulations for the competition will be finalized by the host school.
- (b) Atleast 15 days prior information must be sent to all member schools for participation in the competition by the host school.
- (c) Principal of the host school will be responsible for the smooth conduct & fair judgment of the competition.
- (d) In co-curricular activities, the host school may participate but will not compete for the prize. In sports competitions the host school will be entitled for position.
- (e) Sports competition must be finished by 4:00 p.m. If required, the next day should be utilized for left over events of sports.
- (f) Refreshment to the students participating in co-curricular activities, should be given. The host school will bear the expenses. Timings for the competition must be set keeping in mind the summer and winter timings of the schools.
- (g) Photographs, videos & results of the competitions must be sent to the Secretary Mrs.Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh (ludhiana@darshanacademy.org) & must be uploaded timely on the website by the joint secretary.
- Medals & Trophies:-
- (a) For Co-curricular Activities: In case of group activities individual trophies will be given to all the winners. Details of the prizes for various positions are I, II, III (three positions) and 2 appreciation awards.
- (b) For Sports Activities: Medals will be given to the winners, trophies to 1st Runner up, 2nd Runner up & overall winner will be awarded.
- (c) All the participants will be awarded certificates.
- New Office Bearers:-
The new office bearers were nominated with the consent of the house.
Mrs Vinita Sanan (Principal Green Land Convent School, Sec-32) will take charge as Director, Mrs Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh (Principal Darshan Academy) as Secretary & Mrs Amarjeet Dhaliwal (Principal GMT International) as Joint Secretary LSSC (central) w.e.f. April,2022.
- Other Discussions:-
- (a) More meetings of Sahodaya to be organized.
- (b) Work shops,webinars & seminars by the experienced educationist will be organized for teachers to improve the quality of education.
- (c) It was decided with the consent of the house that only Principals of members schools should attend the meeting.No other representative is allowed.
- Welcome Address to Guest of Honour:
All the members of LSSC (Central) welcomed Mrs Navita Puri, Former Principal KVM,Civil Lines and Director LSSC Central 2015-2018. She was given a Farewell. A token of love was also presented to honour her for her services to the Nation, Education & Society.
- Vote of Thanks :
The meeting ended with the vote of thanks presented by Mrs Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh (Joint Secretary).
- Member schools to submit the Annual Subscription Fee of LSSC (central) to Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill (Director) by 25th February,2022 through cash /cheque /draft in favour of Sahodaya School Complex, Payable at Ludhiana.
