Ludhiana Sahodya Karate Championship

Victoria Public School Lehra successfully organised the Ludhiana Sahodya Schools Complex Karate Championship under the steward guidance of Mrs. Kamalvir Kaur, Director, and Mrs. Ritu, Secretary, on Friday, 22nd May 2026 and Saturday, 23rd May 2026 in the school premises. The two-day championship witnessed tremendous enthusiasm, disciplined sportsmanship, and exceptional martial arts performances by participants from various reputed schools of the region.

The championship for Girls U-14 and U-17 categories was conducted on Friday, 22nd May 2026. A total of 14 schools enthusiastically participated in 7 different categories. The event commenced with a formal inauguration ceremony in the gracious presence of school management members, Principals, coaches, referees, and distinguished guests. The young karate players displayed outstanding confidence, determination, self-discipline, and technical excellence throughout the competition. On Saturday, 23rd May 2026, the championship for Boys U-14 and U-17 categories was organised successfully with participation from 14 schools in 7 categories. The participants exhibited remarkable agility, stamina, fighting spirit, and sportsmanship, making the event highly competitive and inspiring for all present.

The entire championship was organised under the able supervision and dedicated efforts of the Management and Organising Committee of Ludhiana Sahodya Schools Complex and Victoria Public School Lehra. The school campus echoed with excitement, encouragement, and team spirit as students and staff members wholeheartedly supported the participants and contributed towards the successful conduct of the event.

The referees and judges highly appreciated the discipline, hospitality, systematic management, and excellent arrangements made by the host school. The championship not only promoted physical fitness and self-defence skills among students but also inculcated qualities like confidence, patience, perseverance, leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

The Principal of Victoria Public School Lehra expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools, coaches, referees, volunteers, staff members, and students for making the championship a grand success. The management congratulated all winners and participants for their commendable performances and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports and life.
